I noticed your researching Antles of Brigus, and thought I'd pass this along. I live in the community of Codroy, on the west coast. There is a headstone in a field here that I had forgotten about,today I went over to find out who was there. It reads; In loving memory of Capt. William J Antle beloved husband of Elizabeth J a native of Brigus CB who died August 28 1897 aged 63 yrs. Do you have any info on this man? I would like to know if his wife was from here, Wouldn't they have shipped him home otherwise? The land where he rests is no longer in use but was owned at one time by the Hiscock family. | ||||||||||||
