Singapore (May 5 - 9)

The class started Monday at 8 AM, so, just to be safe, I arrived in Singapore on Saturday evening. That gave me all day Sunday to get acclimatized and I spent much of it at the Jurong Bird Park. We stayed in the Grand Hyatt Singapore where Scotts Road meets Orchard Road - great for shopping and eating, and about a 25 minute taxi ride to the Refinery in Jurong where the classes were held. It was easy to get around in Singapore by taxi or on the SMRT trains / subway. Just to get you oriented, here's a map of Singapore.
