Quebec in 2005

Summer Vacation

June 2005, and we're on the road again. Destination - the Charlevoix region of Quebec, just past Quebec City on the North shore of the St Lawrence river.

We packed up the car on Friday June 17, dropped the cats off at the cattery, and drove to Montreal where we stayed overnight. The next morning we continued to Ste Anne de Beaupré, 45 minutes the other side of Quebec City. That's where we checked in at le Club Vacances Quatre Saisons, a timeshare complex normally associated with skiing in Ste Anne. This was to be our base camp for the week.

From that point on we drove all over the region, eating our way through Quebec:

And Saturday morning we checked out, spent a few hours at Montmorency Falls, and made our way back to Montreal. We again spent the night there and made it home the next day in time to save the cats from another night in their cage.
